Miles Wollaston

Miles Wollaston views art and films as ways to connect and share thoughts, emotions and opinions in a creative way. From a young age he has been surrounded by film, capturing both candid and staged moments. His grandad, a fellow filmmaker, inspired him to pick up a camera and start shooting. Because of this he is fascinated by analogue mediums — his footage often plays with nostalgia. He makes you feel your are as much a part of the film. His work reflects his desire to design, create, write, and capture.

A Prisoner to Nostalgia An expression of a sense of being limited by our nostalgic memory through synthesised analogue footage, film, and poetry.
