Mariyke Beccaro

Mariyke Beccaro has a strong sense of the fashion landscape and keen attention to detail. Her experience of living in different countries has enhanced her interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Throughout her employment in fine hospitality and retail she has mastered a deep understanding of consumer behaviours.

Beccaro did a 1 year placement at Ralph Lauren as a Buying Admin Assistant. Her role consisted of updating various Excel files, creating data reports, presenting new collections to the showroom team and checking samples. This experience enhanced skills such as time management, prioritising tasks and working under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.

Beccaro's Final Major Project is Olimbay, a womenswear amputee brand. Olimbay offers base layers to empower limbless women. Comfort and representation are key to the brand, which designs garments for the amputee community rather than adapting mainstream silhouettes.
