Immersive Tectonics
Immersive TectonicsThis proposal takes inspiration from the natural geological formations of the mid Atlantic ridge realised within the site, located in northern Iceland. This pavilion conveys the depth and natural flow of the divergent tectonics taking shape in the courtyard of the pavilion as the building rifts apart.

The designer created a detailed and comprehensive view of the building's interior and exterior, including all the structural components, materials, and systems that will be used in its construction.
Nature's Classroom: Massing Model
Nature's Classroom: Massing Model An architectural massing model made from plaster, timber, and resin is a testament to the designer's creativity and attention to detail. The use of plaster provides a smooth surface for the model, while the timber gives it a natural and rustic feel. The addition of resin creates a glossy finish that brings out the colours and details of the model, resulting in a stunning and realistic representation of the characteristics from the site. This combination of materials demonstrates the designer's vision and aesthetic.
