Through a range of mediums including Illustration, clay, video and writing, Binns' explores the need to feel less alone in the world using scale and playfulness and characters to connect with their audiences.

Practice Makes Perfect, A Grief Zine – Jaydeene Binns explores their processing of loss through characterising feelings and coping mechanisms with “Grief babies”. Having them interact with the contents of the zine including the photographs they had taken in moments surrounding the death of their grandparents, as well as song lyrics that resonated with them. Showing the non-linear and layered chaos that comes with grieving.
