Collecting Talking Touching: Peckham Carboot – Schlieben's Final Major Project is an enquiry of car-boot culture through the lens of Peckham Car-boot in London. Over two months Schlieben interviewed regular sellers at the car-boot as well as capturing it through photography. The book is made up of three sections: exploring and cataloguing the items bought there, creating a narrative on their value; the interactions and conversations heard, and finally the intimacy that is prevalent at the car-boot in the form of touching clothes, holding hands and reconnecting.
Archive 814 – An online identity for a live brief set by In-Col Studio, a design agency who create interesting concepts and projects centred around the earth. It was awarded with first runner up alongside Maya Chamberlain.
Soft Inside – Soft Inside is an installation that encourages engagement in tactility. Schlieben explored the concept of uncanny valley and challenged the comfortability of soft fabric and colours by creating different shapes.
