Ignacio G. Zea

Ignacio G. Zea is a mature game designer with +30 years of gaming experience in a variety of genres. Being dyslexic (with all that that entails) means he's great at thinking outside the box and seeing the bigger picture. Also having a hyperactive imagination and a highly analytical mind, he spends an unhealthy amount of time thinking about gameplay, game mechanics and how they are reflected in the overall UX.

He has a thing for doing things differently, breaking moulds and changing the rules.

Being a mature student with more than 20 years of experience in non-gaming related jobs has allowed him to develop his soft skills to professional standards. He has a strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills, and he also has experience as instructor and a leader.

Having studied and worked as a graphic designer, Zea has a strong understanding of colour, image composition and UI. For him, a game is not just its game mechanics, it's how those mechanics are transmitted to the player through the UI and overall UX.
