Diya Thapar

Diya Thapar has produced a sculptural furniture piece representing women growing within male dominated spaces and industries and thriving in such areas. The project explored traditionally feminine making processes and made use of weaving and crochet for the final outcome. Audience feedback from female peers regarding the project, was that it communicated the prioritisation of female perspectives through amplifying them.

Thapar is progressing to a Product and Furniture degree course.
