Deividas Versulis

Deividas Versulis sees himself as a young professional who believes in the duty he has towards others and the responsibility of changing peoples lives with his interactions. He has been living in London for more than 7 years during which time Versulis had taken great pleasure in working within several companies – this enabled him to develop excellent communication skills and problem solving through challenging situations such as customer complaints or issues with products as well as supporting colleagues.

Versulis specialises in CAD drawings and digital model making. His projects are grounded in a sustainable approach. Versulis had an opportunity to work at Recort Architects Ltd, a small architectural practice, which has helped him develop his digital skills as well as knowledge in residential housing. This range of experience across different industries has taught him to respond rapidly and complete any given task to the best of his abilities.

North East Detail Section
North East Detail SectionIn this section Versulis includes few detail bubbles to show how these parts of the building will be performing as well as how people will be interacting with each other on different floor levels. This building is a multi-level office space with an opening in the middle, allowing for the light to come in from the skylight. The idea of this building and its approach is based on a WeWork-like idea, where people can have a membership for a working environment. This project digs deeper into splitting the working environments taking a futuristic approach, with curved table pods and a maze-like top floor.

Render Work in Progress
Render Work in ProgressThis render aims to show the material approach in the building with interior insulation to preserve the external Victorian brick structure. Versulis takes a sustainable approach, bringing timber inside the structure with the interior space having a soft, light timber look.
South Section Drawing
South Section DrawingThis year 2 project brief was based on the Ecosia company which runs a website platform that plants trees – the more searches you request, the more trees they will plant for you. Deivida's brief was to build an HQ for Ecosia. His proposal employs sustainable materials with a focus on the appearance of the building. He selected an abandoned Victorian engine room for the site, the structure is brick based. There is an extension on the top, turning it into the sustainable Ecosia HQ, with trees and plants growing through the structure.
